Number 31

I was finally contacted by someone from the local adult learning center.  I have to stop by and fill out some paperwork, but I am well on my way to becoming a volunteer for their literacy program.  Reading has always been a huge part of my life and I am uncomfortable if I don’t have a book handy at all times.  I know that my purpose will be to foster reading skills on a functional level, which is obviously very important, but I can’t help hoping that I can help one person find pleasure in words, too.
